Blackwood Location
5 minute walk from carpark
No Restroom facilities, Dog Friendly (on leash), Not wheelchair friendly
This location backs onto the Blackwood forest so you get the best of both worlds, the open field and the forest behind. The grass is a lot drier during the warmer months.
BEACH & CLIFFS
Maslins Beach location
Stairs to reach both the cliffs and the beach below.
Toilet facilities available
This is a nudist beach so please understand although you do not need to be nude I cannot control who may be. This location is best suited for maternity or families with young children. The reason I don’t suggest older children is that we may come across the occasional nude beachgoer. This location is best for weekdays as it will be a lot quieter.
Not wheelchair friendly.
Please note:The cliffs do pose a danger to curious toddlers and young children so they will need to stay close but once on the beach they are safe to run freely. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes for your children. If weather permits you may choose to let them play in the water at the end of the session.
LAKE & FIELD
Craigburn Farm location
3 minute walk from the car (one slightly sloping path to navigate to the creek)
No restroom facilities on site.
Dogs are welcome on leash.
Not wheelchair friendly.
The lake is home to some very friendly ducks who will usually be close by and come up to say hello.
FRESHWATER CREEK
Adelaide Hills Location
Grassed areas beside the creek to play and explore
5 minute walk from the car park (sloping dirt path to navigate)
No restroom facilities on site.
Dogs are welcome on leash.
Not wheelchair friendly.
If you plan to swim bring your bathers, swim shoes or crocs and a change of clothes (there are no change rooms)
Even if you do not plan on swimming having a towel and change of clothes on hand for your children is recommended just in case.
CITY SUNSET VIEW
Mount Osmond location
5/10 minute uphill walk from the carpark
No restroom facilities on site.
Dogs are welcome on leash.
Not wheelchair friendly.
The first photo was taken in spring, the grasses are a lot browner, drier and shorter during summer as seen in the second photo
This location can get quite busy at times, parking is limited and if busy you may need to park a little further down the street. Please allow time for this.
CITY OLIVE GROVE & WETLANDS
Wheelchair friendly
Dogs are welcome on leash.
Free Parking available nearby.
No restroom facilities
